Feeding the soil

Great plants are the outcome of great soil. Healthy plants require less water, get fewer diseases and draw fewer insect pests. And you won’t have to fertilize every other week. You should Start analyzing your soil and test it for essential nutrients or just the pH. If you notice any deficiency of mineral or nutrients in the soil, modify the soil according to recommendations.

Using organic fertilizer

Don’t turn your garden into a drug addict. Synthetic fertilizer could be harmful to the valuable organisms and organic matter within the soil and it’s only a short term fix. And with time it will require regular doses of fertilizer and more and more to get the same result.

Pruning shears: With a pruning shear a lot of cutting and trimming jobs can be done. They play an essential role in harvesting herbs, vegetables, and fruits. They can also come in handy to cut small branches and thick stems.

Rake: A rake can serve a verity of purpose. For gardening, a bow rake is an essential tool. You can also use it to clear leaves or spread mulch. It is also handy while breaking hard dirt or leveling soil.

Digging shovel: A digging shovel is tremendously functional for your gardening use. With a digging shovel, you can do gardening in your yard or raise bed. A digging shovel is very handy in digging holes. Digging shovel makes it easier to mix potting soil or stir compost piles.

Pruning saw: When you have some branches which are too thick for a looper, then a pruning saw comes in handy.
