As a traveler, I have been to Hawaii for a couple of times. Furthermore, I was blessed that I was able to experience all of its seasons, but on different occasions. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this tropical paradise on all of my visits. In fact, even their winter season is something that anyone should be able to try even once in their lifetime.

1. The Winter in Hawaii is Warm
Some people want to escape their native places because of the innate freezing conditions. But in Hawaii, you will never suffer any extreme chills because the place remains to be warm, even in the winter. Specifically, the coldest times in Hawaii are during January and February. However, in these months, the sun is still up on the place.
So what is the specific temperature that you can expect in a Hawaiian winter? Well, the best example that we can give is in Honolulu, which is one of the central points of the region. According to most weather sites, the average temperature of Honolulu during winter is around 75 degrees Fahrenheit to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Packing up your backpack to go hiking and other outdoor activities are still doable under these conditions!

Winter in Hawaii is a perfect opportunity thousands of humpback whales traverse the protected waters in the region. Hawaii is considered one of the perfect mating and breeding grounds for these creatures. Of course, you should never miss this spectacle at all! You will definitely get mesmerized once you will see a 50-ton whale jump out of the sea to make a huge splash.
From January to March, you can see the migration of these whales in the coastal regions of Hawaii. However, you can still see these magnificent water beings in April and December. The perfect places to do whale watching are on the islands of Big Island, Maui, and Lanai.
